History and beauty define the town of Cape Elizabeth, Maine
Portland Head Light, built in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, is the state’s oldest lighthouse. George Washington hired two masons from the town to lead the construction of this historic structure in 1787, and it was completed in 1791. On a recent trip to Maine, I visited this beautiful spot and enjoyed watching ships come in from far off the coast through the binoculars seen here.
Stay tuned for next week's photo.
