Girls' hockey teams face off in NYC's Central Park
Nothing says winter quite like pond hockey. OK, so this game wasn’t played on a pond, but the outdoor rink in NYC’s Central Park certainly has that feel. This action shot was taken as two teams fight for the puck at Lasker Rink, located inside the park. For a young hockey player, it doesn’t get much better than a competitive game as you’re surrounded by Manhattan’s scenic skyline.
