Look familiar, Seinfeld fans? One of NYC's most recognizable restaurants
Do you have the Seinfeld theme stuck in your head yet? Pictured here is Tom’s Restaurant, located in the Morningside Heights neighborhood of Manhattan. The restaurant, which opened in the 1940s, is best known for its role in the popular sitcom, Seinfeld. The restaurant’s facade was used as the exterior shot of fictional Monk’s Café in the show while the interior scenes with Jerry and the gang were filmed in the studio in California.
